with regard to your GLN comment about them not using DLE and using ponds instead, I actually met up with GLN in London in 2018/19 and asked them why they hadn’t explored using direct extraction for such a good project at Hombre Muerto?

They said that they really liked DLE and had looked at it but didn’t want to be the first company to use it. They also were happy with the water supply they could access for ponds.
I think the LKE BoD should be given enormous credit for treading the risky path of being trailblazers and attempting to disrupt the sector. GLN and others will also transition to DLE in time due to the better recovery rates and ability to produce higher purity lithium which in turn produces high margins.
LKE has been bold and brave in its DLE vision which now covers four projects. Will it all come off, who knows but the progress is clear and the timeframe realistic.

Early adopters that disrupt established thinking and challenge traditional practises can also draw negative attention. Now why would that be?

i’m just reactive Foxy... I am a bit perplexed why GLN havent explored the direct extraction method either ... The only problem with DLE is its confirmation of at scale production. Once it is it’s game on... LKE surge so will everybody else ... ponds will be dead ... if I recall the pilot plant was supposed to be delivered April last year??....
so my initial comment was meant to say that an increase in resource is not of any consequence if we can’t get it out and produce it. AGY Although a small resource has enough concentrated Brine at the moment to smash it.
but it’s gonna take a couple of years to build the plant. Lake has a long way to go. Galan has a long way to go .. Argosy is getting there. It takes time but I hate these fluffy announcements.
