We are already 6 months on from the DFS cost estimate price point, so that $31/kg is closer to $32/kg required today given.
You are right about timing, its not the CAPEX + OPEX today, its how much more it will cost if approvals are received in 2026/2027, I suspect that $2b will balloon out by then.
Perhaps some light reading on the Government of Catamarca Miniara website is on order to get a flavour for what the locals really hold dear, simply buying LKE's "We are environmentally friendly" marketing spin won't quiet cut the mustard.
I suspect to win over the locals LKE will actually have to provide some meaningful real world data. Something they have failed to provide in any feasibility study to date........ go figure
