The price of nickel hit US$100,000 last night and the LME was forced into emergency actions to defer the impact on nickel traders caught short on delivery of metal contracts.
Oh to be a nickel producer at the moment.
Goldman Sachs is forecasting that over the next 30 years the world will need twice as much copper as has been useD in the last 30 years and for nickel the world requires 4 times more for nickel.
