A question about the upcoming SS. Is there any indication what options will be considered eg 2 open pits at Kaiser and Boda then at some stage underground options. Has ALK given any clues what the SS will consider?
I would not be adverse to them doing 2 open pits for 5 years (maybe to get to 300k or more Oz pa production with Tommie and then go for the underground - maybe the best way for ALK to develop NMPP on their own. NCM did something similar with Cadia but produced much more gold annually. it took NCM 16 years to discovery to start producing from their massive Cadia East deposit. It’s only been 4 years to date since the Boda discovery so plenty of time yet. These massive deposits can take a very long time to get into production given the capital cost is so big.
