Yep. You do after a while get a sense when the sentiment is changing even recognising it can change back quickly. Couple of my micros have moved on no news. But patchy. Beginning to think I made a mistake not holding something between NEM and ALK. Held RRL for a bit and did well getting out at 2.17 but RMS or WGX would have been good. Not that I am moaning, just reflecting.
Would love to understand better if and how copper/gold are distinguished from just gold in the minds of the investment community. Clearly guys like NEM and EVN seek both.
Assuming a re-rate is occurring the hardest question of all emerges - when to hold ‘em and when to fold ‘em? Very tempting to sell when micros that were underwater reach parity but what might you be missing out on?
I hear you all groaning cause I am getting ahead of myself….
