that is good post mate but it is not relevant how low cost ALK was in the past. all that matters is what is ahead. if the future is not bright the market won't push the SP just because ALK had better times in the past.

I think you are on the money regarding the forecast on the margins but I want to see how ALK are progressing on the expansion front. The picture there is not very clear and the word salad that we are fed during Quarterly or other reports on this subject is annoying.

I too think ALK will be able to access the higher grades this quarter and that will show in higher production rates and lower costs, but I'll believe it when I see it.
