Gold is up 43% for the last 12 months and bc8 was up 400% at its near term peak during the same period. This is an amazing outcome considering that they raised around $140m during that period at lower prices. BC8 wasn’t even in production for most of the year. It’s also sill in ramp-up. Once the market understands and sees the first 100k run rate hit this year, it’s worth a lot more than this price on a peer group comparison. Having peers to compare is useful. BC8 still has mine expansion via open ore bodies, possible acquisitions, coyote, Antimony, and toll treatment. Exploration upside is as good as it gets imo.
I used to own 2m NST back in its shell days. I sold them. Same with FMG, My experience has taught me that if you have the right team, and development model, don’t sell em. I didn’t understand the NST management in those days. They were just getting started, These BC8 guys are proven. There have been numerous times along the way I could have been shaken out. Gold price volatility, sentiment, market corrections, political screw ups, etc. I’ve decided to ride it out. The background macro has been pro gold all that time. There is so much friggen noise out there today. Why did some goose belt it 4c on Friday after the positive news? Probably worried about the short term gold price into a weekend. This is about to amp up again imo. I don’t know what market challenges will turn up along the way. No one knows what the gold price will do along the way.(feeling very bullish myself)
We don’t know what the idiots in Canberra will tax next, The day to day is nutsville. As long as they keep delivering on their strategy, then I’m staying. Looking around the world, no Western govt is cutting spending. They are all on a road to a debt crisis. That’s going to keep devaluing currencies and pushing up the gold price. Trumpo and musk looked like they had a chance before the wheels fell off. It’s mathematically impossible to fix this problem. Go gold. Good luck.
