Good one. Copperroad. Always look forward to your in depth posts on Blackcat. Your story on your 'too soon' selling early big holdings in NST and FMG must have hurt big time when you see where they are now. After doing similar several times in the past but on a much lesser scale with Paladin, Jubilee Eagle and Ramelius etc I think just sitting tight on a good company usually proves to best unless you are a very nimble trader. I watched NST from the early days too when they first bought Paulsens but after getting hit badly in the Opes Prime debacle just before the GFC went quiet on the market
for a number of years until recently. Like you I really like the BC8 story, maybe doing a retake of NST, and now holding very firm as it proceeds to ramp up at both Paulsens and Kal east at a time of record gold pricing. With the company led by. Gareth Solly meeting or beating all targets to date, and with Coyote reopening, Mount Clement and Big Sarah drill out to follow I think the present lull will soon be over as the June and Sept quarter reports come in. Any major drilling success reports will likely be warmly received making trading in and out just too risky for me at this time. Lack of patience in past trading has certainly given me more now, but ironically now much less time. Blackcat is my main holding and when you consider that gold is now more than 3 times the price that NST mined at Paulsens albeit with higher costs today I think at least shades of NST success at Paulsens is in prospect for Blackcat?
Also having a little dabble in NMG and MEU and Lode for their high grade antimony &. ag which all seem to have good prospects? but really looking forward to how the BC8 story unfolds, and also looking forward to you continuing to tell it do well.Cheers Mamba.
