HRZ has done a similar deal. The only real difference is that HRZ head grade is nearly half that of BC8's. They think they can pay a contractor and toll treatment cost at 1.24g/t and make a profit. I assume the recent gold price rise is the only reason they can edge out a profit.
I will take the BC8 deal every time. The grade is King. BC8 also gets the underground exposed once the pit is completed. These deals show us that companies can make money.
