Trying to figure out the benefits of having both C&L plant in Malaysia and KAL operational.
My understanding is KAL can supply enough MREC for LAMP downstream separation capabilities. So why the need for MAL C&L to remain operational?
Assume that if MAL C&L remains operational, it would only be at 50% capacity, which is around 11Kt of original capacity. Or is Lynas planning to operate both at full capacity. Seems like excess capacity which is going to affect efficiency and COP.
