I was at an AI event for SMEs last night. Most of the talk was about privacy and data.
The someone in the room brought up the environmental impact of AI. Talk quickly turned to energy demands, etc, etc...
The AI experts could not hide from the fact that finding energy – and hopefully, clean energy! – is the single biggest factor holding back the continued growth of AI.
It has to be said again, that after all these years, KPO has somewhat fortuitously found themselves in the middle of one of the world's biggest growth industries. I'd like to think the names behind KPO can make something of this. Because AI isn't slowing down any time soon.
