KALiNA Expands Land Position in Alberta 10 February 2025 estimate C$100,000 to 300,000 per MW
the news is:
NTT acquires 173-acre planned data center park in Mesa, Arizona, for $300m March 28 2025 7 buildings 360 MW total 833,000 USD per MW
that valuation is 3 to 7 TIMES the estimate that Kalina and it's advisors give. currently Kalina has 6 projects, right. so market values each project at less than 3m AUD.
ps. The land in the news story was acquired in 2004 1,700 acres for 45,000,000 USD now selling 10% of the land for total return of 6.66x total return: 66.6 times
i guess Kalina acquired saddle hill land use rights in 2019 or thereabouts. most value uplift would have occurred since 2019 I suggest.
