let’s be honest the last round of ‘financing’ was a complete sham. Who was Akira? Did they make the deal up? There’s been no mention of them anymore- a phantom company that supposedly was ready to stump up $70-140m.


I did research into Akira and the original projects were towards the high end of their scope when looked at on an individual project basis. The SH project, being a larger plant than the deal with Akira had allowed for, is well out of their scope to fund on their own. They may still form part of the funding plans, I am not aware of how their scope allows in terms of joint funding arrangements.

Unfortunately with funding plans only insiders have knowledge of what is happening there, no way for shareholders and outsiders to know what is going on so it is just a matter of waiting for an announcement. There are two likely possibilities, no-one has come forward so far to fund the SH project with terms that make sense for KPO and us shareholders or in-principal funding has been agreed but KPO are negotiating to get the best deal for KPO and us shareholders.
