i did two days trips there approx 2-3 years back, probably from memory 6 months apart, it was very early in my detecting experience in the Pilbara where i would hit known area's where gold has been found in the past, the Pilbara was totally different to what i was used to and took a while to get my head around it.
The small area of the lease i detected was great looking ground, full of rusty tin everywhere and i mean everywhere, which can be a good thing and also a bad thing, only thing i can put this down to is past cyclones has distributed it nicely all over the landscape

I haven't been back since i set up oziexplorer/geo maps around 2 years back, i acquired permission to detect on leases over toward the Egina area so that has kept me busy enough without having to look to other area's.
