LIN - Lindian Resources LimitedLindian Resources came into the year with an ongoing dispute against Rift Valley Resource Developments Limited regarding an exclusive option agreement for the Kangankunde Rare Earth Project in Malawi.The appeal took place in the Malawi Supreme Court of Appeal and it was not until May that the dispute was settled, LIN was trading at around 3.2c at the time.Lindian went on to acquire 100% of the project for US$30m over a 48 month period, LIN then raised $3m @ 20c to fund the acquisition, a 525% premium to the share price before the acquisition was made.LIN's share price would then climb to highs of 36c in September, a ten bhagger for those who bought the bottom and sold the top.The Kangankunde Project is a carbonatite-hosted system and a globally significant deposit with major potential in size and grade with a granted mining licence.Well done to the boss Asimwe & his team @ LIN, he's been reading this for quite a while & you could say is a friend of the Rant.
