my 3rd aortic - previous in 2014 and going ok, but ‘easier’ to replace whilst doing mitral, giving better access etc as well, and now hopefully both will last about 12 years or so.
Wasn’t impressed I had to go back to OT for post op h’ge - about 1400mls removed and bleeder sorted. I was asleep and unaware, but no fun for Mrs Dockie! Now 5 weeks post op. Still running on 86 octane, with cooking oil, but hopefully Haemoglobin and anaemia will slowly improve.
I’m still more of a sloth than a snail, but slowly improving.
Hopefully will soon be running on Super 98 high octane fuel.
You may be interested in MSB’s recent results on hearts and heart strain/failure.
All being well, MSB as well as HGO will boom this year and Marble Bar will be on for young and old. I’ll put my hand up for the “old” job description.
