Sorry, i disagree.
Even a 1980 model Lawrence sounder shows an anomoly the magnitude of the so called deeps which were presumably as big if not bigger than the open pit.
Just like cruising in your boat and missing a bommie as big as your boat.
This MT survey seems to have lots of conflicting signals compared to the last survey IMO
