Been meandering around in the swamp which is clay-hosted REEs for a week or so and came across this release. A question about the data...

The way I read it the table below says:

- samples were assayed
- samples were split into two about 45 microns
- the stuff less than 45 microns was assayed
- the grades were higher in the small stuff, YAHOO!

As to how much of the feed REOs ended up in the -45 micron fraction, well no-one seems to care less!

You've got the recovery column which I believe is the percentage of feed reporting to the -45 micron fraction.

Now REO recovery = -45micron REO / (Head REO / recovery%)

Using that formula on say hole CBAC22-200 gives 1902 / (1198 / .62) = 98% of REOs reporting to -45 microns YAHOO again

However if we do the same to CBAC22_183 we get 905 / (433 / .49) = 102% of REOs so more than went in came out

There are numerous other examples in the list.

What have I missed?
