couldn't find another buyer? looks like KAR are going to have to fund the whole thing themselves.
so they've paid about A$20m for 35% of the santos basin, so a look through value of ~58m, whilst it leaves them with $460m of cash, a massive funding commitment and Rob, Tim and Scott hosking taking home $2.3m a year.
I can't for the life of me understand why shareholders don't tip them out and take back their cash. That's still worth nearly $2/share!
