I think this alone, once again, brings into question the integrity of management and now we are into the third week of a complete shut down this should put to bed the cheerleading squads inference that it's just minor issues and all will be back to normal operations in 1 to 2 weeks.
Obviously this needs to be sorted before trading can re open and no doubt the company is still racing around doing remedial work whilst they await the investigation findings.
I bet the company won't release the investigation reports to SHers, just their own spin, and most will have to rely on the Guyana media for more accurate details.
I wonder if they will release the details on cost of remedial work that needed completing........probably not as this would certainly prove their original 100% pass mark was a misleading.
Of course even those with rose tinted glasses understand the ore body has been challenging, unprofitable and unsafe so it will be interesting to see whats in those reports, if released, on that front as well.
You can be sure it won't be sugar coated like the company has been spinning for the last 3 years.
I very much suspect the company won't want investors to see anything but the companies own spin on the geology.
