Dean Goodwin: "Preliminary interpretation of the auger soil data suggests two main orientations for potential gold mineralization within the host granite, one in an east-west orientation and the other in a north-south orientation. Other more subtle orientations suggest gold mineralization paralleling the cross-cutting Proterozoic dyke. Further work is required to confirm these".
DG also puts the case for these anomalies in the granite to be derived from mineralization directly below or nearly below the anomalies.
All of this seems to be true, as there is a clear relationship between mineralization, faults and anomalies. None of the anomalies north of the dyke have been drilled so far.
