China has less stringent ESG which means they can produce bucket loads of Synthetic.
That’s great for mass produced cheap Chinese manufactured EV’s, Chinese battery manufacturers and Chinese buyers but terrible for the rest of us & the environment.
Synthetic is also a by product of oil production and has to be heated to temps in excess of thousands of degrees to manufacture.
Natural Graphite doesn’t require the heating so far better ESG.
Think of it as getting one over the Chinese and far better for the environment so your kids will grow up healthier.
