How so? If the ALB deal went through, you'd get $3. And you could even get $3 and a bit on the open market when Gina arrived. Had you sold to her at $3, it is immaterial if ALB did proceed, you'd still get $3 but save yourself from a bigger fall if the takeover does not materialise as you could buy it back on the open market at much lower price (and we now know that is a 40% difference).
