I guess it comes down to her risk reward tolerance. She may feel the BoD is exposed now thay they did say they would recommend the $3 ALB bid. She may feel she has a shot at $3 or close to it, given the events which transpired. I don't buy the theories that the BoD only recommended the ALB bid to flush out Gina.
Gina will have to pay a lot more if she waits 2 years and we execute well. I kinda think she would be more attracted to the bigger prize by taking us over now and backing her own team (Hancock, CE, Develop) to deliver the project well. I think there will be more to play out before production. External events in the market may influence whether or not this occurs. All imo.
