I don't think this CR is in anticipation of a decrease in travel related demand, I think it's in anticipation of imminent insolvency if the lockdowns continue.

Furthermore, I'm pretty sure online sales of kathmandu gear comprise only about 10% of overall sales, compared to other retailers like CCX which have 50% of their revenue from online sales (and are justifiably rallying hard as opposed to doing CR at half the market price like KMD).

To have bought into a company like this after such a huge fall in SP is akin to catching a falling knife (I am not a shareholder). I hope for investors' sake the SP won't crash on Friday when it reopens for trade.

On the bright side, soon enough travellers will be able to take a blood test at the airport to detect Covid (Wuhan) virus carriers. So travel can rebound quickly once the destinations are safe.
