Or you can then transfer them to another broker which will give you more services. Commsec is probably the best in Australia but there are cheaper like IG etc. Up to you. The Aus broker will have an arrangement with the US broker you won't have to do a two stage process. They won't be transferred to Australia they will stay in the US proxy like. They won't be shares they will be ADS so that is a bit different as discussed above.

Thanks Riskyrider and Boro for your thoughts . I will wait until the notice comes out and then have a chat with CMC or computershare mind you they didn't give much good advice at this stage but I will wait a week or 2
