For what it’s worth I spoke to Commsec International account section today and this is what I understood from them.
Even if I have my KZA shares with them, which I don’t, but could easily do a off-market transfer from my current broker to Commsec, they can’t transfer my shares in any form into an International account. They stopped doing that 12 months ago. All they can do is trade shares on say the Nasdaq. I was told to find another broker that is capable of doing this. I have not yet track one down, since I am not 100% sure in my own mind what the best approach is.
