You and I have been around this stock and on these boards for very many years... possibly more than we’d like to remember. In all that time I don’t believe there has been as much bile and pure relentless hostility toward another company’s CEO than we have at present.

The irony of that situation is that now we, as Kazia shareholders, actually have a financial stake in the other company... the bile and sniping seems to be getting worse. You rightly point out that since our part-ownership of the other company now exists.... the wealth and value they generate goes directly to our own bottom line. On that point alone Kazia shareholders should be cheering from the rafters. Instead though, in certain quarters some posters appear unable to face their good fortune..

This reluctance is baffling. It results in a strange almost schizophrenic position of having to face both ways at once. Sneer and snipe at imagined shortcomings from the other company and always endeavouring to put anything in the worst possible light. And then when something positive happens... grudgingly make a comment that always turn that good news into something they are somehow responsible for.

Baffling behaviour and grubby venomous hissing almost without restraint. Not a position to be envied.

I’ll politely point out that all of the investment cash that we have been spending during the current CEOs reign (and before) was raised by the efforts of just one man. Not one penny has been raised since his departure. Even the tax rebates we have enjoyed recently have come off the back of those earlier raised funds.

I have thought long and hard about what our present CEO will do when he finally has to go out into the tough world of raising finance and inevitably has to come up with his very first round of funding. I must admit... his track record on this is unclear and has me wondering.

The same CEO who raised all of our current funds is now batting to raise more in the other company... a solid part of which is of course now for our benefit too. I just wonder what the reaction will be here when that happens. Will there be joy at making our position more secure.... or will there be the usual derision ....or worse still, the same self-congratulating attitude we are used to hearing from certain quarters.

Like a number of folks here, I have holdings in this company, the other company and... in MEIP too. The breadth of the science held between those three is very interesting and all three have prospects but in varying degrees. How variable those prospects?.... well, that we each have to work out for ourselves. That task might be a lot easier if there wasn’t so much juvenile witless cheering when a share price rises on no news, and there was far less sniping on historical issues.

So Moosey.... I thank you once again for your sage advice to stop some of the nonesense on this board and to point out yet again..... that what’s good for the other company.... is good for us too.

That may be tough for some to come to terms with.... but I live in hope.

But your target audience needs to have a higher level of emotional intelligence before you can appeal to it.

And again nothing changes. The response straight out of the blocks demonstrates only one thing - to hear you out only to respond - not to listen to try and understand.

I thought like Risky that the GDC Phase 1 results looked nothing spectacular. Probably explains why the share price has in fact dipped. Fortunately for KZA, the current standard of care for GBM doesn't take much beating,

Also explains why the $5 million up front cost seemed incredibly cheap.
