    Nothing - they just stay a minority holder- business -trading and everything as usual. It is not like they IMO didn't have control before anyway.
    Should KBC choose they can now creep up the register at their leisure and should they do that and eventually end at 90% they would be forced to compulsorily acquire the remaining shares.
    The main issue is that IMO fewer people or investors will be willing to buy into a stock where there is a controlling holder so there is less pricing tension. That may allow the share price to stay stagnant or decline at which point KBC can mop up more. It is a way or frustrating holders . Regardless of underlying business performance why would you promote any success until you have to when you are still wanting total control. .
