The CEO did not instill confidence in me that KCN will get the full CAD27m near term to help fund the re-start of gold production at Chatree. Meanwhile there are ongoing holding costs for KCN in respect of the NE project, for which I hope KCN can get some funds from TDG if there are continued delays to completing the deal.
It is a pity that the silver price has had a considerable retrace and there is even some suggestions that it go under $20/ounce in the short to medium term. If the silver price was at $28-30 then TDG would probably have already secured the funds for the NE deal.
