What numerous posters on the BML forum appear to ignore, apart from the unrealised capital losses they hold (many would have an average cost > 17c), is the opportunity cost of holding this stock. I recently sold part of a shareholding in a company and the share price of that company has accelerated 50%. Even at that improved level, the profits that I have made on the investments where I have redeployed those funds is still a better outcome than I would have achieved in place of simply holding that stock. You can get into the trap of waiting for good things to come and they never do while other opportunities go begging.
