Littlecorn, not sure what you are referring to when you say that Kempfield is a "bit far from all others" .I think Kempfield is very well situated for the development of a mine with regard to availability of infrastructure.Kempfield is located about 40kms from Blayney where if you take time to check a significant rail link passes (concentrate from Newcrest's Cadia is transported via this line)through Blayney.From memory of that 40 kms most of it is well sealed roads ( about 35kms) Both Blayney and Bathurst are decent sized towns and home to people who have or are working in mines in the area.....no FIFO needed here .Living costs are reasonable as well.Actually the proximity to infrastructure is one of the reasons I like the project.
As to the grades of lead and zinc, I think you are quoting average grades across all of the existing lenses and your figure is derived from dividing all the current zinc and lead tonnes by the total of all the tonnes of rock in the project.
As far as I am aware from announcements and presentations I have read the zinc and lead grades increase as you move westward.Ffom memory lens 1 is shown in company presentations as consisting mainly of silver and barite .Also the West McCarron zone is not included in the current resource.It's this area to the west which I think will be a company maker for Argent -with grades of zinc and lead up around the 18% mark if I recall(without checking individual announcements)
