The measured and inferred resource of zinc at 154,000 ton which sells today at AUD$2500/t is excellent when you consider that there might be a new demand for zinc just around the corner.
They now know how to build zinc-manganese batteries with far greater recharge cycles than lithium (5000x compared to LIFEPO4 of 2500x) with a far better energy density (285 mAh/g versus 170 mAh/g for LIFEPO4). This has the potential to turn zinc into a much prized material.
