I am only in ARD for a very small punt ... so its more a learning experience for me than anything else.

I read the post @thunder54 put up and initially it impressed me but looking a bit harder at it I'm not so sure.

If you look at ARD's website you see they are undecided about the geologic model.

Thunder uses "duster" to describe a couple of holes. Looks to me that's a quick judgement made on his own assumptions. If I was more involved in this stock I would have long ago rung the company to understand first hand their drill plan. However, judging from the info on their site it seems a reasonable guess the deeper drilling was all about trying to establish which geologic model is the correct one.

If the geology conforms to ARD's preferred model then thunder's dismissive summation that "1m here 4m there" is irrelevant because the company is hoping to find thick, high grade at depth.

First things first imo. We need to see the assay results to get a sense of grades. Then the company needs to complete the drill plan and hopefully clarify which is the correct geologic model.
