I would think very few people would understand KB's influence on making Pilbara a great company than I do, due to a lot of interactions with him over the years. He is genuine person who cut his teeth in the business world the hard way.
He learnt about strategic placements and partnerships to grow Pilbara in a best case win/win for all parties. Pilbara would have been taken over for a fraction of the long term value, from original shareholders, if it hadn't been for KB at the helm.

He is now more experienced and better known for getting the job done. I would expect Patriot to be able to grow and develop much more quickly with KB at the helm. I expect there will be deals, raisings, and partnerships that lots of existing holders will complain about as we go forward, always expecting a 'better' deal for existing shareholders. Yet somehow down the track, when we are selling huge quantities from this resource, much faster than expected by most, people will eventually realise how great KB was for the company, with his strategy of business working in the longer term for everyone's benefit.

This is a great move by the company and I'm very happy that KB has ended his early 'retirement' to get back to what he loves doing..
