Great find mate.

For those who are new to CDT, or maybe focused on their Earaheedy projects, it's worth considering what the previous explorers (Windward Resources) had to say about the two DD intercepts at Kendenup. Being in the Albany Fraser Orogen, it was anticipated to be a Nickel find and not a large Graphite orebody that was the source of an EM anomaly performed by the company. Graphite was nowhere near as bullish in 2014 as the story is now..

'Both holes intersected several zones of low-level gold mineralisation up to 100ppb Au andzones of graphite/sulphide, predominantly pyrite, but chalcopyrite also occurs.'

'Graphite is present as breccia, veins and veinlets and is interpreted to be the result of deposition from a migrating supercritical carbon bearing fluid. The drill holes are likely on the margin of a large system with graphite infilling cracks and faults surrounding the major deep tapping lineament – the South Boddington Fault, which runs through the prospect area. '

'Morphologically the rocks appear similar to those described on the margins of the Albany graphite deposit – Northern Ontario, Canada (Figure: 5), and the alteration zone associated with gold mineralised veins at the Erikson gold mine in British Columbia, Canada.'


With any luck there's a large Graphite orebody on the Kendenup project associated with the South Boddington Fault, which runs through the two tenements and is associated with three Graphite occurences (Kendenup graphite occurences, Kendenup DD intercepts and Martigallup over more than ~15km..

Per prior CDT Quarterly regarding upcoming work programs:

'Extend an existing ground EM survey over the Kendenup graphite workings and the Martigallup graphite occurrences and RC drill test for extensions to the Kendenup workings'

With the granting of EL 70/5963, the Martigallup workings or follow-up drilling at the Windwood DD intercepts may be included now in any possible RC campaign at Kendenup. It certainly sounds like mgmt are keen to rapidly progress this project; and with good reason too.
