The Locksley Resources (ASX:LKY) Mojave project is immediately adjacent to MP Materials’ high-grade Mountain Pass mine and processing facility, which is the only active REE processor in the US. Mountain Pass produces ~15% of global REE supply and has the potential to host numerous REE deposits.

Mojave abuts Mountain Pass’ claims,

five of the 25 rock chip samples collected at the El Campo prospect returned high grade results of between 3.74% and 9.49% total rare earth oxides within a six-metre wide mineralised zone.

Mojave is prospective for valuable magnet REEs such as neodymium and praseodymium, as well as antimony with rock chips having returned grades of up to 17%.
Importantly, both REE and antimony have been designated as critical minerals by the U.S. government,LKY is currently proceeding formal engagement with US federal initiatives such as a submission to EXIM Bank to support US content and financing, FAST-41 with federal permitting acceleration application in preparation, an application to support US based processing and strategic metals development under DPA Title III.Collaboration discussions are also underway with the Department of Energy and National Laboratory for REE separation R&D and antimony purification.
Mojave comprises 260 claims covering 20.9km2 that is spread between the North East and North claim blocks.
