It has been 11 months since the merger still no indication when the revised BFS/DFS will be released.With the vanadium price around us$4 per pound perhaps there is no hurry. I realise the EPA is still outstanding.
It looks like AVL intends to try and build batteries for now, I assume using V2O5 bought from USV. Will the battery bought by Horizon and now being commissioned in Kununurra be the first of many? AVL has competition in this area ,Pacific Energy has installed 6 lithium batteries total storage 4300KWh in the MidWest/Goldfields for Horizon. There was a AVL battery tested by the WA Water Corp over 2 years ago and no news since.
The 33MWh electrolyte plant has been operational for 9 months and only produced 220KWh of electrolyte, or 6.7% of annual capacity.
I think AVL should inform shareholders about the near future propects of the G**by mine, there has been no news for some time.AIMO.
