I emailed the company today and received a reply along the lines of join the webinar and learn a out these new assets.

I will be trying to to do that and will reserve judgement to a degree.

However corporate governance is important, I work as a CEO of a privately owned organisation that also has owners and a board. I'm actually not sure that I would retain my job, nor would the board members retain their paid role if we persisted in an arrangement that the business owners had clearly said they don't want to proceed with, its an interesting position for them to take.
