It was only a few days ago Trump signed an executive order into Americas supply chain of copper. Elon musk knows the importance of Rare Earths, Gallium etc. China has cut the US off from many of these critical minerals.
The only way you can make America Great Again is for them to become self sufficient in these minerals. Trump & Musk know that and will do everything they can to ensure the US is a producer of these critical minerals. Guess who has the technology to fast track that.
