I think you are correct there in saying the site design is different to the FJH design.
While i don't profess to know anything about FJH design, I would expect that is the priority to enable the ordering of long lead/bespoke items whereas site design is likely stock standard.
With regards to having 6 months to buy it would be nice to think you are somewhat off the mark with that thinking.
