"Indium Corp produce 0 tonnes Galium and 2 tonnes of Geranium in the US"
I don't know where you get these figures from because Indium Corp do not disclose their production numbers & being a private company have no requirement to do so. They do however disclose they produce & sell Gallium Trichloride & Gallium Oxide as well as several germanium & Indium products.
Re China accounting for 98% of production in 2023, that is the whole point & why MTM make a big thing of it in their presentations. It's a bit like Lithium chemical processing, gallium etc production is a very dirty process that the Western World would take years & years just to get the environmental approvals let alone build plants.
That is where we come in, we can produce from scrap (a high % is wasted in production) and even from in Gallium's case the Bauxite.
You and I would be lucky to know 1% of what the gallium market is like. If an expert like Indium corp are interested in partnering producing from scrap they must think it's worthwhile.
That is also the big advantage of our license covering all the metals on the periodic table. If for example Gallium scrap is hard to source we can swap to other high value metals, rare earths, e-waste etc. With REE's for example we're not talking about scrap, they are processing 30% + concentrate that has been mined.
Although they say the 1TPD units are modular, to produce more just add more modules, they have also said they will be doing the R&D into constructing much higher capacity Plants.
