Two great reads. Both are Vic Geological survey reports on the Maldon Goldfield from 1904 and 1926. Lots of information on the Nuggetty Reef. Bulletin 49 says the Nuggetty reef gave yields over 500 ounces of gold per ton. Bulletin 14 gives much more information on the Nuggetty Reef workings and the nature of gold mineralisation at Maldon.
