LG Chem to supply Faraday Future with it's batteries, very cool piece of news

Faraday appear to be a serious up-coming EV player and competitor for Tesla. They're moving from their sport concept EV to a sedan, possibly an SUV which many believe will be a direct competitor to the model X.

Will be interesting to see who VW choose to partner with for their battery supply. Apparently the finalists are Panasonic and LG Chem... to be announced by years end.

I, like many, think LG Chem will become the number 1 battery supplier in the near future... they're looking to build a huge plant in Poland (already well established in China) to cater for the European car manufacturers.

Is true, when looking at all of what's in the pipeline, their's going to be some serious quantities of quality graphite required.

My bet's on LG Chem being Magnis' first household name off-take partner!!!

Simon Moores of Benchmark Minerals (at the recent conference) seemed pretty convinced that Tesla would prefer not to publicly name who they choose to sign their graphite contract with, but others were of the opinion that they will have to, as a new mine will likely be needed and Tesla's name would be needed for the candidate to receive finance!!!

Anyway, I'm also not fussy who signs up with Magnis first... we will get them all eventually haha hopefully

They're all in the bag!! however, Magnis may need to increase the size of it's bag to cater for them all hahaha
