To add to above, the US medical insurers reward, eg: pay for, preventive measures to keep people out of the hospital- like Wheezo. In Australia, it is up to the individual to pay for most of the preventative costs whilst public hospital admissions are free, so getting people to 'buy in' (pun intended) is hard
