This is a fantastic patent to have.

The covalent binding binding system that PTX use...You can literally boil the modular system once it has been armed by the binder and it will stay stuck.

So any competitors that have hopes of using a similar tech or modular system are going to continue having the same problems, the binder failing & the modular system splitting apart rendering the therapy useless.

Not that there are many CAR-T programs attempting to use genuine next generation tech such as PTX...However knowing that our covalent binding system is protected until at least 2039 is a massive insurance policy against any prospective competitor trying to piggy back Oxford and PTX IP.
