Well Mr K pointed out cobrakai1984 on another thread, that there are unmarketable parcels passing through the system from the merger and they will take time to be work through. How much longer for that to be out of the way has not been established but there is cut-off point as I understand of 20th March (please correct me if I have that wrong). So the market is not functioning as it might have otherwise been. I am seeing lots of tiny shares often parceled into fair amounts even today.

The market may well opt to seize upon these opportunities to pick low-hanging fruit imvho even if there is this pressure to sell into the market, particularly as things are far less volatile in the first half of today.
