Dude you appear new here, as am I relatively. You will find lots on here bagging the company. RCE is one of those micro-cap stocks that with cheap share price and the science combined, is compelling but clearly risky - management criticisms for sure well founded from their history. Its a stock (understandably) suffering from shareholder fatigue therein and the down-rampers in full control of any discussion on RCE.
Weirdly its got no short positions, normally a dead giveaway to the one way traffic on HC sentiment. Its unusually mostly disgruntled long-term holders driving much of the negative sentiment.
Potential investors would however do well to have a look at OPT today as a stark warning for bio-tech investments like RCE. It was strongly fancied by a mass of professional investors and other stakeholders (its trials fully funded) to pass its trials and it just failed one of two phase III trials investors were waiting on. Even the shoo-ins ain't shoo-ins. A topical gel in Indonesia for DFU's clearly a less onerous pathway....
For me its not the best hand odds in the game, but the potential antimicrobial resistance final pot undeniably huge, and the buy-in for RCE is (now) relatively cheap and few other players at the antimicrobial resistance table - most in CRISPR, antimicrobial peptides or vaccines avenues of research, with obvious ancillary benefits elsewhere.
