" I understand they have a few products as well.." - yes, they come up with a new one every time they need to raise more money from shareholders.
"..the cream to put on ulcers seemed to work wonders." - hard to know if it does anything special for the patient, because the 'data' they release is pretty much meaningless. And it does nothing for the share price, as punters have developed resistance to it.
"Are the trials not a measure of progress." They should be, if properly conducted, but RECCE's leave a LOT to be desired.
"How many more trials before they have a product that can be injected into people to stop bladder infections etc" - That depends. Trials as they have been conducting them and in the jurisdictions where they are being run - no amount of trials will ever suffice to permit injecting a 1st World patient - which is where the real market is. Proper trials before the only jurisdiction that matters, the FDA, on the other hand - about a decade and US$50 to US$100 million, assuming all goes well.
"It appears pretty unique." - Not really. There are no end of pharma-hopefuls out there who promise the world and then disappear up their own burette. This one though, is pretty good at syphoning money out of naive investors.
"Is there any light at the end of the tunnel." For investors, the light may be an oncoming train - perhaps the same gravy train that management has been riding.
