Seems like a smart re-shuffle of responsibilities. Can't see that the market will have too much of a problem with it.
With regard to pegging the pay packets back. I would have preferred that company performance had met the remuneration, rather than scaling back the pay to meet lack luster performance.
Honest gesture though, I hope.
